Rafael Viñoly

Uruguay-born Rafael Viñoly was a 22 year old architecture student when he won an open international competition to design and build a prominent 31 story office tower in the Catalinas section of Buenos Aires, the Unión Industrial building. It was the start of a remarkable career.

Today, Rafael Viñoly Architects is recognized globally for excellence in design and project delivery. He leads the design of every project the firm undertakes and sets the strategic direction and guiding vision that motivate a multi-disciplinary staff  of over 150 professionals working in New York City and satellite offices in London, Manchester, Shenzhen, Abu Dhabi, Palo Alto, Chicago and Buenos Aires.

In a half-century of built work, Viñoly has consistently sought to produce architecture that makes meaningful civic contributions while exceeding the programmatic, economic, aesthetic and performance goals of clients and users. His political acuity and mastery of the diverse issues affecting each project allow him to lead stakeholders to unique solutions that do not conform to a “signature style”.

Integrated Developments is a vertically integrated real estate development company founded in 2014 by Rafael and Román Viñoly.

The company operates directly in every primary link of the development value chain – from business planning and land acquisition to design and construction to commercialization and operations.

The architectural concept and expression of every building is iterated throughout the development process to better integrate evolving commercial, legal, technical and strategic considerations. This high level of integration generates efficiencies in all phases of a project and permits the most flexibility and operational transparency.

Integrated Developments commits its own capital alongside valued investors who share the vision of consolidating the disparate fields of the development process into one entity to deliver long term generational investments in high-quality assets at privileged locations.
